Lisa Joy Winter
Sometimes Lila's life is so bizarre, she wouldn't believe it if she read it in
a book. What could be more humiliating than breaking your arm while reading? Lila finds out when an obnoxious boy writes LILA
STONE—DISASTER PRONE on her cast for the world to see. This begins her adventure of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
How is klutzy Lila going to survive the seventh grade with a broken arm, teasing
classmates, and an impossible English report about being thankful?
Despite her fears and clumsiness, Lila learns to trust her instincts and follow
her heart. She understands how important it is to be her true self. Lila trips and falls along the way, but still
she grows.
